Third World Conference Foundation
Solving the problems that faces development is of paramount interest to every human being as we all share a planet. Beginning as a workshop in Illinois in 1973, TWCF focused on raising issues and posing solutions to the challenges of development. This soon grew into the Third World Conference, as well as a foundation. We are committed to positive change.
Vision
The Third World Conference Foundation (TWCF) continues to envision a 21st century world in which development challenges and change requires the use of practical and workable solutions integrating intercultural and interdisciplinary thinking and problem-solving in implementing solutions to improve our world.
Our Mission Statement
TWCF, Third World Conference Foundation is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that offers analyses, conferences (on ground and virtual), discussions, peer-reviewed publications, consultancies, and selected community youth-mentoring activities.
Conferences Promote Discussion and Offer Solutions
TWCF conferences have a tradition of inviting leaders, activists, educators, and policy-makers gather to exchange ideas and present papers, many that meet standards for publication worldwide. We focus on providing practical solutions on key local, regional, and global issues facing our society individually and collectively. We welcome differing ideas and critical analysis in arriving at answers that benefit all.
